Yes! You can tailor the design as much as you like to suit your specific needs and site requirements. Our Design Packages come in a range of formats, making it easy for any drafter to make adjustments.
How do I ensure my design is unique to my area?
When you purchase a Design Package, you register a Site Address. This gives you the exclusive right to build that design on your specified site. Our address database helps prevent others from building the same design in your local area.
Can I see cost estimates before purchasing a Design?
Yes! Each design in our collections include preliminary costing, giving you upfront insight into estimated construction costs. You’ll find this on each Design Package’s product page.
How do I find a local builder to build my chosen design?
Start with our Find A Builder tool on our website to find builders in your area. Alternatively you can check the HIA and Master Builders databases for professionals who can help customise and construct your design.
What other expenses will I need to account for?
Your Design Package includes everything needed to build your chosen design, but your Design Plans and Preliminary Engineering will need to be adjusted to suit your specific block. Your builder will usually handle this, working with a drafter and engineer to make any necessary tweaks. Depending on your local authority, you may also need additional reports—such as a land survey, soil test, energy assessment, or private certifier. These are all standard steps in the approval process, and your builder can guide you through them.
